The Marshall County/Argos FFA dairy judging team recently competed at the North American International Livestock Exposition judging contest in Louisville, Ky. The team placed eighth overall and seventh in reasons.
Individually, Lane Bollenbacher placed 11th as an individual and was fourth in Jerseys. Drew Bollenbacher placed fifth individually in Jerseys. The team placed third in Jerseys.
Team members include Drew Bollenbacher, Lane Bollenbacher, Owen Nifong and Kendra Langfeldt. The team is coached by Carrie Jo Bollenbacher and Geri Newman.
The team would like to thank the Culver Young Farmers, 1st Source Bank of Plymouth, 1st National Bank of Monterey, Argos FFA chapter for their financial support. They also thank the farms, families and individuals for allowing them to practice judging cows at their farms. Those include Jordan and Melissa Eby, Jeff and Marla Stookey family, Dankerts, Connie and Andy Lemler and Mike Heckaman.
