Learn from Experts at Ind. Water Summit

Published: Friday, August 3, 2018

The Indiana Water Summit, to be held in Indianapolis on Aug. 12 and 13, is an opportunity to increase our collective understanding of statewide water resources, learn from national experts and other communities, and find the best way to protect our water assets.

The goal of the Summit is to lay the framework for state- and regional-level water planning. Topics will review the current water needs and challenges facing all sectors of water users and will cover relevant university research.

The Summit format includes a combination of national and international speakers; a review of best practices, case studies and lessons learned; interactive elements and an influential keynote address by Charles Fishman, author of The Big Thirst.

The event is Aug. 12 from 5-8 p.m. at the Indiana State Museum. On Aug. 13 the events start at 8:30 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. at the Marriott. Those wishing to attend can register up until the Summit. For more information and to register, visit http://IndianaWaterSummit.org.
