Fairfield Seniors Top FFA Awards

Seniors Faith Adam, Halee Fisher and Morgan Sanchez were top award winners at the annual Fairfield FFA awards banquet last Monday at Fairfield High School in Benton.
Those three FFA members each received the Senior Leadership Award, and Adam was named the winner of the prestigious Glen Byler Award.
This year's chapter president was junior Gavin Erb, who earned the Chapter Workhorse award. He also was elected to serve another term as chapter president.
The Star Greenhand Degree was presented to Garrett Dunlap, and the Star Discovery Degree went to Aidan Bender.
Individuals who excelled in the SAE (supervised agricultural experience) at state judging were recognized. Garrett Roth earned a Gold award in landscape management, and Gavin Erb won Gold in swine entrepreneurship.
In chapter fundraising, Annika Eppert led the way in fruit sales. Gavin Erb and Wyatt Erb tied for second place.
The Blue and Gold Award was presented to two individuals, Melissa Yoder and Kelly Walter.
Officers for the 2018-19 school year were: Gavin Erb, president; Garrett Dunlap, reporter; and Noah Hochstetler, sentinel.
Incoming officers for the next academic year are: Gavin Erb, president; Garrett Roth, vice-president; Garrett Dunlap, secretary; Riley Richardson, treasurer; and Ali Weaver, sentinel.
