DeKalb FFA Crop Team Qualifies for State Event

On Nov. 20, the DeKalb FFA competed at area crop contest at the Columbia City fairgrounds. After naming 25 crop and weed plants, seeds, diseases, the team of Brooke Evans, Paige Lothamer, and Tyson Rowe finished third overall and qualified for the state contest at Purdue on Dec. 9.
Others competing for DeKalb FFA were Paige Allen, Michael Kennedy and Madysen Snyder whose team placed seventh overall. Carlie Taylor was fifth overall individual in the juniors and qualified for state.
