Millersburg Farmer's Day Set for Aug 16-17

Streetfest takes place in downtown Millersburg on Aug. 16 beginning at 4 p.m. Then, on Aug. 17 a Farmer's Day celebration takes place at Cook Station Park.

The event kicks off with the car show and cruise in from 4-6 p.m. Food vendors will be available until 9 p.m. Starting at 5 p.m., the American Legion hosts bike night. Dr. Ron and the Clinic Band performs at 7 p.m.

Farmer's Day starts at 6 a.m., with breakfast being served until 11 a.m. at the American Legion. A softball tournament starts at 7 a.m., and volleyball begins at 8 a.m. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. from the first station and vendors open at noon.

During the afternoon, a cornhole tournament takes place beginning at 1 p.m. Games for the children will be available throughout the day. Also at 1 p.m., there will be a pony pull, Fairfield High School Fusion choir performance and sawmill demonstration.

Auctioneers will compete at 1:30 p.m. and firemen's waterball contest is set for 2 p.m. The garden tractor pulls also begin at 2 p.m. Hearland County Cloggers will put on a performance at 3:30 p.m. Kids may compete in the pedal pull at 4 p.m. and buggy races are set for 5 p.m.

Joel Young Band takes the stage at 7 p.m. The events come to a close with fireworks at 10:15 p.m.
