Pecan-Crusted Jalapeño Popper Cheese Ball

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

½ c. shredded Cheddar cheese

1 tsp. hot sauce

¼ tsp. ground cumin

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

½ c. chopped pecans, toasted

2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, hot sauce, cumin, bacon, jalapeño and garlic in a bowl.

Combine the pecans and parsley on a plate. Shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball; roll the ball in the pecan mixture. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for an hour or more before serving. Serve with vegetables and crackers. —10 servings.
