Indiana Dairy Sets Regional Meetings

Indiana Dairy Producers once again will host regional meetings to provide up-to-date information on the Indiana dairy industry. Meetings will be held on Feb. 8 in Dubois County, Feb. 9 in Adams County and Feb. 10 in Marshall County.

"We are planning some great topics for you this year that apply to everyone," said Steve Obert, IDP executive director. "Our goal is to deliver a program that will educate, inform and deliver confidence for you to go back home and get better. Come join us for a day of opportunity."

The following topics will be presented at the regional meetings:

• First Steps in Succession Planning

• Beef on Dairy: From Concept to your Bottomline

• Dairy Product Consumption Trends

• Sustainability: What, Why, How and Opportunities

• A Different Approach to On-Farm Processing

Meetings are scheduled for Feb. 8 in Huntingburg, Feb. 9 in Monroe and Feb. 10 in Plymouth. The Plymouth meeting will be held at Christos Banquet Center, 830 Lincolnway East. All meetings will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
