Quick & Easy Turkey Gravy

4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
¼ c. all-purpose flour
2 c. turkey or chicken stock
Salt and pepper
Optional ingredients:
¼ tsp. poultry seasoning
1 to 2 chicken bouillon cubes
¼ tsp. onion powder
¼ tsp. garlic powder
In medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk the flour into the butter. Cook, whisking constantly, for 2 minutes. Gradually add the stock, whisking well after each addition. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and cook until thick and smooth.
If desired, you can add in chopped, cooked giblets or shredded turkey.
