Noble 4-H Team Wins State Dairy Judging

Faith Lortie and the Noble County 4-H Dairy Judging Team returned home with the victory from the state dairy judging contest at the Indiana Holstein Show in Columbia City on July 11.
Lortie won first prize overall and in reasons, and the senior team also took home the win.
The senior team, consisting of Adelaide Hopf, Kyla Sickafoose, Lily Hopf and Kynzie Carmien took home the title for high 4-H senior team overall and high 4-H senior team in reasons. They will compete at the national contest this fall.
Following Lortie, Sickafoose took second senior overall and third in reasons, and Adelaide Hopf was fourth senior overall and in reasons.
In the junior division, the Noble County team had two competitors: Mackinley Lortie and Mesa Lortie. Mackinley Lortie placed fourth overall individually and second in reasons.
Other placements by team members include: 13th senior individually, Lily Hopf; 16th junior individually; Mesa Lortie; and 19th senior individually, Kynzie Carmien.
The team is coached by Marcus and Julia Troyer.
