Coldwater Youth, Team Win Second Place at NAILE

The North American International Livestock Exposition 2025 Michigan 4-H team members included Gracie Triick of Coopersville, Kelsey Gruner of Coldwater, Austin Preston of Quincy, and Ross Kelsey of Blanchard. The team, coached by Dr. Joe Domecq, Lynn Olthof and Sarah Black, won first place in reasons and second place overall.

In addition to winning the reserve champion title and first prize in oral reasons, the team placed first in the Holstein and Guernsey divisions, third in Jersey, fourth in Ayrshire and fourth in Brown Swiss.

Individually, Triick placed first overall, first in Holstein, second in Brown Swiss, third in Guernsey, fifth in oral reasons, and seventh in Jersey. Gruner placed second in reasons and ninth in Holsteins. Kelsey placed sixth in Holstein in Guernsey, and Austin Preston placed ninth in Jersey.
