The show will feature a major farm manufacturing and distributor trade show and educational seminars sponsored by Purdue Extension and Northeastern Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts. All the educational sessions will take place in the Appleseed Room A, next to the main exhibit floor.

On Tuesday at 10 a.m., a Midwest Ag Market Outlook will be presented by David Kohli and John Cavanaugh, WOWO market analysts, and Rob Winters, WOWO farm director. Ryan Martin, farm origination specialist with Louis Dreyfus Co., will add a weather outlook.

At noon, Elysia Rodgers, Purdue Extension Educator, will present "Barnyard mirror: how animals reflect our own health."

At 2 p.m., a pesticide applicator and anhydrous ammonia safety seminar will commence, with PARP credit available. Speakers will include a representative from the office of the Indiana State Chemist, Ann Kline, Purdue Extension educator, and James Wolff, Purdue Extension educator. The Indiana Corn Marketing Council and the Indiana Soybean Alliance will sponsor PARP credits. Attendance from start to finish of this two-hour program is required for PARP credit.

On Wednesday at 10 a.m., Michael Langemeier, director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture at Purdue University, will present a market outlook.

Farm Bureau's luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Appleseed B, with Brianna Schroeder of Janzen Schroeder Ag Law speaking on waters of the U.S. Only 150 meals will be available, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The luncheon is sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau Inc., and the Farm Bureaus in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley Counties.

At 2 p.m., Dr. Bruce Lamb from the Indiana State Board of Animal Health will discuss biosecurity essentials for livestock owners.

At 5:30 p.m., the Purdue EDGE in Ag Team will discuss "Code Red, a practical tool for your family and farm contingency plan."

On Thursday at 10 a.m., training will be offered for those seeking a new private pesticide applicator license. This session will prepare future pesticide applicators for the CORE pesticide applicator test, the passing of which qualifies an individual for a private pesticide applicator license. The training will utilize the Indiana Pesticide Applicator Core Training Manual (PPP-C). Manuals can be purchased through Purdue Extension on the day of the program or at https://edustore.purdue.edu/ppp-c.html. James Wolff, Ann Kline and Brad Kohlhagen, Purdue Extension Educators, will provide instruction. No exam will be given, and neither PARP nor CCH credits will be available.

If you are looking for a career in agriculture, conservation or natural resources, look for the "We're Hiring" signs at vendor booths.

Be sure to visit the display booths of Purdue Extension and Northeast Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts on the lower level, Expo Hall 4.

Consider supporting the FFA auctions at 1 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We look forward to seeing you there!
