Crockpot Brownie Bottoms

½ c. packed brown sugar

½ c. water

2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa

2½ c. brownie mix

3.9 oz. box chocolate instant pudding mix

½ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 large eggs

½ c. water

3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Lightly grease a 4-qt. crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. In a small saucepan, mix brown sugar, water and unsweetened cocoa. Bring to a boil.

In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, stirring to combine. Pour batter into crockpot and spread around to cover the bottom. Pour the boiling mixture over the batter—DO NOT STIR. Cover and cook on High for 3 hours. Turn crockpot off and let stand for 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. —4 servings.

Note: Recipe can easily be doubled, just make sure to double the cooking time.
